All the released versions of the Bigg Boss reality show have been well received. Big Boss came to Malayalam only after the wave of all other languages. The Tamil Bigg Boss starring Kamal Haasan has been aired recently. The third edition was launched following the huge success of the first two seasons.
There were reports of a suicide attempt of a Tamil contestant nearing the start of the Tamil Bigg Boss. It was Kamal Haasan himself who made this known. The actress, who had attempted suicide at the time, was also expelled from the show. The actress was sacked after she broke the rules of the Bigg Boss Show.
The actress had been trying to commit suicide following a dispute with her fellow contestants. The actress tried to commit suicide by chopping herself inside the Bigg Boss house. Kamal Haasan had later said that he was disappointed with Madhumita's actions. Madhumita has now filed a complaint of mental torture against Kamal Haasan.
